I hate the subway. I hate the subway. I hate the people who jam onto it with no regard to personal space and i REALLY HATE the people who put on their make up on the train. I hate everything sometimes.

I've never been on a subway but I'm darn sure I would hate them too.
I hate the bus for the same reasons...and I know for sure the bus is not as crowded as the subway! We don't have subways here...but there is BART (bay area rapid transit...underground trains) in SF and the immediately surrounding areas. Have ridden that several times and it sucks. Never had the *pleasure* of an NYC subway! The few NYC cab rides I've had were bad enough! :P
Fallen- it's really not always that bad and if you're not raw or sensitive it's not bad at all.
I realize that sounded like a criticism. I was just defending the subway in general, a little.
